At ArtFly AI, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our service.

2. Information We Collect

We collect several types of information from and about users of our service, including:

  • Personal Information: Email address, name, and payment information when you create an account or subscribe to our service.
  • Usage Data: Information about how you interact with our service, including search queries, AI model selections, and features used.
  • Search History: The searches you perform and the results you receive.
  • Technical Data: IP address, browser type, device information, and cookies.

We use the information we collect for various purposes, including:

5. Third-Party Services and Data Sharing

We share, transfer, or disclose your data only with the following categories of third-party service providers, and only to the extent necessary to operate the service:

  • Social Media Publishing (YouTube, TikTok): When you choose to publish, your OAuth tokens and the final generated video file are shared with the selected platform.
  • Meta (Facebook and Instagram): When you connect a Facebook Page (and optionally a linked Instagram Business account) and choose to publish a video, the following are shared with Meta: your OAuth tokens, the final generated video file, the post title, description, caption, and hashtags you authored. Connection is initiated by your explicit click on "Connect" and publishing is initiated by your explicit click on "Upload Now" or "Schedule".

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers.

6. Google API Data — Limited Use and AI Isolation

ArtFly AI's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Specifically:

  • Google user data is never sent to AI training services. Data obtained via Google APIs (including YouTube account information, channel data, and OAuth tokens) is never transmitted to xAI/Grok, Google Gemini, ElevenLabs, fal.ai, or any other AI model or third-party service for the purpose of training generalized AI models.
  • Complete data segregation. Our AI video generation pipeline operates exclusively on user-provided text prompts and app-internal content stored in our own database (Convex). This pipeline has no access to and does not use any data obtained from Google APIs.
  • YouTube API usage is upload-only. We use the YouTube API solely to upload the final generated video to your YouTube channel at your explicit request. We do not read, index, or transmit your YouTube content, channel data, or subscriber information to any third party.
  • Google OAuth tokens are stored securely in our database and used only to authenticate YouTube upload requests on your behalf. They are never shared with AI services.

7. Meta API Data — Limited Use and AI Isolation

ArtFly AI's use of information received from the Meta Platform APIs (Facebook Login for Business, Instagram Graph API) adheres to Meta Platform Terms and Developer Policies, including data minimization and limited-use requirements.

Specifically:

  • Data we collect from Meta: Your app-scoped Facebook user ID, a long-lived access token (valid up to 60 days), the IDs and names of Facebook Pages you choose to connect, the Page access tokens for those Pages, and the IDs of Instagram Business accounts linked to those Pages. We also store your Facebook display name and profile picture URL for display purposes only.
  • Data we never collect: Your Facebook password, friend list, posts, messages, photos outside the videos you publish through ArtFly AI, audience demographics, post engagement metrics, comments, or any data beyond what is strictly required to publish on your behalf.
  • Meta data is never sent to AI training services. Data obtained via the Meta APIs (including OAuth tokens, Page IDs, Page access tokens, Instagram account IDs, and profile information) is never transmitted to xAI/Grok, Google Gemini, ElevenLabs, fal.ai, OpenAI, or any other AI model or third-party service for the purpose of training generalized AI models.
  • Complete data segregation. Our AI video generation pipeline operates exclusively on user-provided text prompts and app-internal content stored in our own database (Convex). This pipeline has no access to and does not use any data obtained from Meta APIs.
  • Meta API usage is publishing-only. We use the Meta APIs solely to (a) list the Pages you manage so you can pick one, (b) publish videos and Reels you generated in ArtFly AI to the Page or Instagram Business account you selected. We do not browse, scrape, or analyze your Pages, posts, followers, comments, or insights.
  • AI-generated content disclosure. All videos published through ArtFly AI to Facebook and Instagram are AI-generated. Every upload dialog displays an in-app disclosure label informing you of this before you click Upload. We comply with Meta's AI content labeling policy.
  • Meta OAuth tokens are stored securely in our database and used only to authenticate publishing requests on your behalf.
  • Data retention and deletion: Your Meta data is retained only while your account is connected. You can disconnect at any time using the trash icon in our Social Connections card, which deletes all associated tokens and account IDs from our database. Removing the ArtFly AI app from your Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites also triggers automatic deletion via Meta's User Data Deletion callback. 8. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which we collected it, including for legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. Your search history is stored indefinitely to provide you with access to your past searches, but you can delete your search history at any time.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, including:

  • The right to access your personal information
  • The right to correct inaccurate information
  • The right to delete your personal information
  • The right to restrict or object to processing
  • The right to data portability
  • The right to withdraw consent

Our service is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
